Who is your ideal client?

We love working with driven entrepreneurs who are looking for beautiful, thoughtful designs that will move the needle. We're passionate about our work, and work best with those who feel the same about theirs!

Our design style blends modern trends with timeless strategy, and often a pinch of hand touched elements, and we're inspired by clients who share a similar aesthetic and goals. I need a website! Are you a full service Web Design studio?

Yes! While Melissa be your touchpoint throughout the process, she collaborates with industry experts to take your project from start to finish - from conceptualizing, to designing, to implementing a completely custom website. We’ll handle coding, SEO, the works, and deliver you a live, fully functioning website, and even offer post-launch maintenance.

Fun fact - we work alongside Melissa's husband and his agency to inject your website with industry-leading digital marketing tactics and SEO at an exclusive partnership rate! Some people call them a dream team, we call them digital marketing nerds who happen to be married.

How quickly can we start our project together?

We typically book 1 month in advance for onboarding new clients for ongoing work, and 2-3 months in advance for branding and/or web projects. We're also expanding our design team in order to accommodate more clients! Reach out so we can chat through what you are looking for, see if we are a good fit, and map out your timeline based on your needs our current availability! Once we decide to work together, please take your time to gather any questions you have, read through our FAQs (you’re already doing that!), shoot over your signed contract and we’ll dive in.

Is the studio just Melissa? Is there a team behind the "we"?

About 6 months into pursing freelance full time, Melissa was lucky enough to face the dilemma: does she turn away exciting work and potential clients (because she is only one person!), or does she bring on team members to accommodate more opportunities? After much debate, and many, many 14 hour work days where she took on way too much, Melissa finally went with the latter, and hasn't looked back since! She kept her (maiden) name of Harans as our studio's name, to reflect how deeply connected I am to each and every project and client. Nothing enters or leaves the studio without Melissa's close direction, and each project is a reflection of her own work and style. We often joke that we wish we could clone her to accommodate more clients, but that the team is the next best thing!

We have a Project Manager, (who keeps everything running smoothly and on time), a few Content Proofers (who proofread each and every asset to make sure they are error free before delivering to the client), and a small team of like-minded, talented designers. Just like Melissa, everyone is a contractor - we love the freelance lifestyle and the energy it brings, and enjoy extending that to the team as well!

What is your onboarding process for new clients?

Every client - and every project - is unique, but we always like to start by chatting through needs and goals on the phone. It’s so nice to put a voice (or face, if you’re up for a Zoom!) to the name and get to know each other a bit as we dive into a working relationship. We think of ourselves as an extension of each client’s in-house team, and want them to do the same! Most of our clients have long standing relationships with us, and we value that foundation of getting to know one another beyond our inboxes.

What are your rates?

We bill most work at an hourly rate, and offer packages for larger projects such as branding and web design. We also offer discounted rates for clients who sign up for a retainer. Please reach out to inquire about which pricing would fit your needs.

What is the best way to communicate with you?

Email is always the best way to get ahold of Melissa - she's one of those people who refuses to let that “unread” bubble hangout for too long! Although she often shares her cell number for scheduled calls, please keep our written conversations to email so we can all easily reference them, and never miss a thing. Melissa is quickest to respond during studio hours of M-F between 9am and 5pm EST. She's also always happy to schedule time for meetings via phone or a video chat.

What is your delivery process?

If you have a company server, project management system, or other online storage space, we’ll deliver work there throughout the course of the project. If not, we are happy to deliver via my dropbox - if so please remember to download your files upon delivery, as we do clean out my dropbox regularly (neat freaks over here!).

Do you use a project management system?

Feel free to add us to your project management system of choice, if you'd like. We love Asana, Trello, and Monday,com, to name a few. Otherwise, we are happy to recieve assignments and feedback via email.

How do I pay you?

You’ll receive a clearly itemized invoice from me on the last business day of each month via email - please check your spam if you don’t notice it come through. Branding or website packages are billed on an as-booked basis.
